Membership Information

Membership Eligibility Criteria:

Membership in ICONS is open to researchers from a variety of organizations/agencies that meet the following criteria:

• The organization has direct involvement on a ongoing basis in the performance of studies of a national scope that yield data about one or more of the following topics:
  • characteristics of nurses
  • nursing workforce
  • nursing education
    
    
• The organization has a designated person who holds direct responsibility for overseeing the performance of studies related to the above topics.

The person holding direct responsibility for overseeing the performance of studies must be appointed to serve as the organizational representative to ICONS.

Application Process

Submit a letter of application containing evidence of meeting the eligibility criteria listed above to Mary Jo Goolsby, membership coordinator, at mjgoolsby@aanp.org.

Membership Retention:

If a member is absent for three consecutive meetings, membership in ICONS will be terminated.
